That is a really great reason why you like this particular uniform of the silver ferns. I definitely agree with you that including the beautiful native plant on the uniforms is unique and special. My Grandad used to play rugby for Scotland and once they played against the All Blacks and he was presented with a silver fern post match. He treasures this silver fern and believes it was a great symbol of sportsmanship. I wonder if the All Black still give silver ferns out to their opposing teams.
How many uniforms do you think each team has? I have noticed that teams often have new designs each year. Do you know whether these uniforms are their current uniforms?
