what a sad day from me to you
so many packing to do
so much things to buy
but i can not lie
air so cold
my words so bold
my heart breaking
this sight is breathtaking
so much lives of people
mixed with families and townspeople
so much frowns
when felling down
there is no more happiness for our town
and as for sadness that's enough now
Hi Milika,
ReplyDeleteIt's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey team.
What a sad and thoughtful poem you've written about visiting Beijing. It's as if you have been there on a smoggy day.... Well done!!!
Aren't we lucky to live in places where smog isn't a problem? I live in a small town in Canada and we're surrounded by farms so there isn't any industrial smoke in our area. And you live in a breezy, ocean-side city, so your air is constantly being moved around.
I used to live in a big city called Toronto. There were many days each year when the sky would be grey with smog because of the number of cars and trucks on the roads, and the industries pouring smoke out of their stacks. Not good!!
I hope you're having a happy sunny day today, and that your return to school this term has been fun.
I've enjoyed reading your blog.
Cheers,
Leslie
