wk1 day five activity 2 living on the edge

dear Samantha Williams

my trip to tundra was the best trip i have ever had
tundra is antarctic and cold they have short growing seasons there the
tree growth is delayed because of low temperatures
there are scattered tree in some regions
tundra vegetation has short shrubs , sedges , grass

    It's Leslie here, a member of the Summer Learning Journey from my home in Canada where the Arctic tundra is found. You've done a good job of describing what the tundra is like -it's usually very cold, there are low growing plants and bushes, very few mammals etc. Good for you!

    My husband has visited the Arctic tundra and he loves it. He says the air has a special quality to it and it's very beautiful, even though it's very different than the area in which we live.

    I like the letter that you've written. It would help, though, if you would use punctuation in your sentences. That means it would be helpful if you would capitalize the first letter of the first word in each sentence and end each sentence with either a period, exclamation mark or question mark.

    Keep up your great work and I'll look forward to read more of your postings!!
