the clothing company twenty seven names was originally named love lies bleeding in the year 2006 but this company soon discovered that there company name was copyrighted by a company in the US. After some thinking they renamed there company Twenty seven names in recognition of the companys top 27 supporters who have been supporting their company all the way. During the a company meeting/session they were coming up with names for the company and 27 names was on the list and it was chosen. I personally like the name Twenty seven names it seems mysterious and i don't think that they need to change there company name!

Secondly, you gave some back story on how they got their name. I think their name is fine and they shouldn't change it. I think it s a very unique name because it is named after the people who supported the company.Maybe next time you could add a small outro to your blog post! Overall, this is a phenomenal blog post! Keep up the astonishing work!

ReplyDeleteThanks for completing week four, day four, activity one! I like how much detail you’ve put into this post and it’s rewritten in your own words really well - ka pai! That must’ve been difficult and sad for the designers and the rest of the company to find out that someone in the USA had copied their name! I prefer the name Twenty-Seven Names though, I think it is more catchy and I agree that they should stick with that name :)

I like how you have done a really detailed description which includes the old name, when it got changed and all that. I also like how you have added an image. I have seen the selling site and the prises are quite expensive they must be really good designers.
