I'm Leslie and I'm reading your blog from my home in Canada, on the other side of the planet from your community, as a member of the Summer Learning Journey team.
You've answered the question as to how you most like to see Milford Sound very well. It sounds like a boat would be your preferred mode of travel. Since the Sound is very big that might be one of the nicest ways to see both the shoreline and into the water itself. Boats are a lot of fun, aren't they? Have you ever taken a ferry ride - perhaps to Devonport?
I visited New Zealand many years ago and went on a boat tour on Doubtful Sound - that was stunningly beautiful!! However, it's down on the South Island so that's a long way from your home...
I hope you're having some good adventures during your summer holidays, doing all of your favourite things including these SLJ activities. You're doing a great job. Keep up your good work!!
