Girl power

I have chosen my sister lucy she is very funny and she is loving and caring  she has always been a good student and she stuck around the longest because she's the oldest she sticks around to help my mum and dad she helps me and my siblings do chores she is now married and she is a nurse and she continues working at starship in the childrens ward she always comes over for visits and we bake cookies and she always chats with my mum the reason she does all these things like stick aroud, visit and clean because she knows my parents are getting old and she dosen't want them to worry about anything and she dosen't want them to stress because they come home from work tired and dizzy. My parents are proud of her and being the oldest out of 9 is hard but she take's it like a champion and treats us all equally and she always forgives us even when we're annoying she told us if we are sad or mad we can talk to her about anything and when we talk to her she make's things better i'm proud to be her younger sister and that's why she is my role model Image result for sister drawings"

  1. Well Hello Again Milika.

This is again one amazing blog post. WOW, I am impressed that you are just taking your time in the SLJ. I think you have a very big chance to one like other people that are doing the SLJ aswell. Well, I very like that you explained why you chose your sister as your role model. Infact, I think she seems like a very nice sister😊. I think this is an amwesome blog post and needs no change. You are also taking one step more to get to the finish line. Keep it up Milika.

  3. Hi Milika

It's Anna commenting again. I love how you chose your big sister as your role model. Wow, she does work really hard. I am the oldest child and sister in our family and I know how hard it is to be one.

My siblings annoy me all the time but I really like them. I also like the image you put in to your post and how you attributed it. Next time you could add in some more full stops. Check out my blog by searching up https://ctkannaj.blogspot.com/

    Great work

  4. Tēnā koe Milika,

Thank you for sharing your post about your sister Lucy, she sounds like an incredible woman and it's incredible that you have such a caring, loving and hard working role model to look up to. Wow you have 8 siblings! I am an only child so I have no idea what that must be like but I can image your household is very busy and chaotic?!

Your post made my heart so full - I think it's so sweet and empathetic of you to talk so highly of your sister, she must feel super lucky to have you as a sister and you family must feel so grateful to have Lucy around. I also love the image you've added, its so beautiful and relevant to what you've written.

I love how on this programme I get to know more about you and the other learners (and their families) who are participating in this programme :)

Have a fantastic day and keep up the awesome mahi!

  5. Hey Milika
Wow 9 siblings! does that get annoying? Are you the youngest? I like how you have added a quote and a sweet image. You have done an amazing choice for a role model. She sounds like a sister everyone needs. I only have a sister who lives in Germany so I don't see her much. Keep up the great work

  6. Hey Milika,

Well done on completing another amazing post full of information. You have worked so hard over the summer to continue your learning. I am so proud of you and I am sure your sister Lucy is too.

I was so moved by your post that I had to share it with the Ako Hiko team. It sounds as though your sister is a truly beautiful person who works hard and always puts her family first. You are so lucky to have such a kind and caring big sister to look up to. I bet she is proud to be your sister as well.

I agree, I think she is a champion too!

Thank you for sharing such a beautiful post. I feel like sending a message to my sister now and tell her how grateful I am to have such a beautiful sister. You have filled me with love and I want to go and share it too.

Keep up the awesome work, Milika.

  7. Hello Milika,
I hope you are having an amazing morning. I'm sure Lucy is really proud of you. She seems like such a nice and caring person. You're so lucky to have such a supportive sister. I'm sure she is really successful and people like her. I really like how you included an image that relates to your text. I also like how you included a quote and attributed it. I have an older brother and sister, both are really helpful. Of course, sometimes they are annoying, but I'm still thankful for them. Do you have any older or younger siblings who you also look up to you? Do you want to follow in Lucy's steps? Keep up the awesome work.
